oversized dreams

Don't ever let anyone crush your dreams. I think too many beautiful, budding dreams are stamped out by the all-too real words of others who don't believe in the potential that we all held since we entered this magnificent world. So what if your dream is too lofty? Too idealistic? Too unrealistic? If none of us dreamt of a better world, a better tomorrow, it would never happen. The world is never going to be changed by those who dream only for others; it's going to be changed by those who dream in spite of others. You will be told over and over again that you're just one person, you're too small, you're too unimportant, you're being too foolish. But I'll be the one person that tells you to go for it. Even if you miss what you aimed for, you'll still be moving forward instead of refusing to move at all in fear of failing. If we all lived our lives by our fears instead of our hopes, it would be a sad reality to exist in. Too many of us are wielded by the limits that this world has placed on our shoulders, but let them go. They aren't worth your time. The world might tell us our dreams are too much for this generation to handle, but live how you want. Create the world YOU want to live in and one day leave behind for your children.
I would rather fail than cower away from a challenge.
