Slap

I've said all this time that discussion is so important and that communication is key, yada.. yada... I wonder why I didn't listen to myself sooner. Isn't it funny how many problems could be solved through one phone call and yet we allow our problems to fester in the little dark holes of social media as each comment blows the problem out of proportion as each party is left to interpret everything for themselves? Life wasn't meant to be lived alone, so why do we allow ourselves to be so isolated? I needed this. The slap in the face to tell me to stop succumbing to the temptations of drama and the popularity in unhappiness so prevalent and so encouraged through the Instagram effect. I needed it all. I had to learn it sooner or later... that words are powerful but that it's my choice to wield them for good or bad.
