Yeah I'm passive aggressive. I'll be the first to admit it and the first one to embrace it. But I don't mind, and to be honest, I think passive aggressive has been wielded too much as an insult. No it's not the best way to deal with things, but is there really a "best" way?
I'm "passive-aggressive" because I don't want to be just passive or aggressive. I want a balance. So is passive aggressive really that bad? In some cases yes. Sometimes passive-aggressive is scary because you don't ever really know what the other person wants. But I don't think that stems from passive-aggression, it comes from the lack of communication. I might be "passive-aggressive" but I know that when it boils down to it, I'll tell you what I like vs. what I dislike because communication is (if anything) the best way to deal with situations.
So yes, I'm passive-aggressive. But let me clarify one thing - I don't call it passive aggressive because it has such a negative connotation to it now. What do I call it? Nothing really, because it's just who I am and part of my personality. I don't really see a need to put a label on it.
