Respect

I think that in our society one of the things that we should emphasize more is respect because we live in a world where it's so easy to tear each other apart and disrespect each other through a screen - it's so simple, quick, and impersonal. We don't see the impact that we may have made on the other person: we don't see the tears or the false elation that we may have fomented through a couple of choice words. We need to respect others' opinions, thoughts, and feelings regardless of what they may be because although we are each entitled to our own perspectives, so are they. As we maintain our stance, it's pivotal to remember that there is always more than one point of view. Life isn't so simple to say that there is a black and white to everything - I see the world in grey.

We decide if it's more black than white or more white than black.
